PEEK is a family of polyether ether ketone materials. A grade choice depends on the reinforcement system and manufacturer processing guidance as well as the part's loads, temperature, media exposure and dimensional needs. Results for one grade must not be generalized to the entire family. Compare heat-deflection values only after checking the standard, load and specimen condition; consider fiber orientation and specimen preparation for mechanical data. Database entries may lack complete conditions. Use results to build a shortlist, then verify original manufacturer documents and test samples in the intended processing and service environment.
